GJ-DAY 1- reveal

Steam has this new game out called PlanetBase. Looking at the trailer it looks like a great game. During the trailer it shows the player going to a planet (I believe mars) and creating a colony. They make this colony of people and have to survive disasters like meteors and intruders, make their own food, find water and create energy, etc. This game is basically a strategy game where you help guide a bunch of people on a new planet. You (the gamer) play the role of the manager as well as the base architect telling the others where to build the base making sure that your people have enough food, water and oxygen as well to survive. The people will have to create energy, grow food, find water, mine metal, manufacture some work bots and create a stable base to live in. There are four different planets to choose from, based on levels.

WHAT I LEARNT WHILE I WAS ANIMATING... For this project, we had to animate our faces to say different things from star wars. One thing I learnt was to make the jaw move to mock the words on the soundwave. I also learnt that you can put all the sounds on one layer and after every sound you have to type stop(); into the actions panel. For the buttons to work you also have to add a code to the actions panel. That is all I have learned this week.
