WHAT I DID... This week I did an animation called "The city" in flash. First off, I had to make a sky, trees, a start button and car. then I had to download a driver and car honk to add. I then added houses in the background and an airplane in the back to make it my own. I added these all together and made a tween with the car, played around with the button and boom I was done!

1. F8- creates a symbol, saves to library
2. ctrl-B- breaks it apart
3. ctrl-G- groups it together

WHAT I DID...

This week I used Photoshop to overlay images onto the letters of my name. For example, I did a mall parking lot, earth from space, animal, material, and nature overlay.

WHAT I LEARNT...

What I learned this week is how to overlay an image onto another. First, you have to add the first layer. For me, I added the letters of my name (first name) which had the image mall parking lot on it. I merged all the letters together so that they were attached and then I clicked ctrl and then thumbnail to highlight the layer. This next part was trickier for me to learn. Hide only the letter layer. this should have highlighted your letters on top of the image. Now highlight everything except the letters, this should highlight the background photo. hit delete and then you are done! lastly, I learned how to put a photo or change the background colour of my blog. To change the colour, go to HTML and copy <div style="background: lime;"> changing lime to any colour you want. (ex. chocolate, coral, orange, pink.) To change the background photo to a photo copy

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK...

In the first week of computers I made a blog and did some Photoshop projects. While making the blog, I made an image gadget with a witty comment to follow. For the first Photoshop project I found photos on the internet then cut out letters of my name. I also made a Dropbox account.

WHAT I LEARNT...

For "my predicted grade" I learned how to find a GIF on the internet and then how to paste it. I also learned how to make a link list on the side of my blog. I learned how to make a table for my images of my letters and to make adjustments on the size and height. While making the letters, I learned how to clean up my letters. for example, Ctrl + thumbnail = highlight
Ctrl + D = unhighlight
Ctrl + Z = undo
Ctrl + ALT + Z = many undos
Ctrl + X =cut
Ctrl+ A = select all
Ctrl + V =paste
and lastly, I learned how to change the background colours.
